It is with great enthusiasm that we invite you to ASICON 2026, to be held at the state-of-the-art Gujarat University Convention & Exhibition Centre (GUCEC), Ahmedabad from 17th to 19th December 2026.

ASICON has remained the live wire of the surgical fraternity across the subcontinent for more than eight decades. Carrying forward this legacy, Ahmedabad steps in once again hosting ASICON for the second time, the last one being back in 2013 in a city celebrated for its rich history, academic spirit, warm people, incredible food, and a unique blend of tradition and modernity, Ahmedabad takes pride in hosting the 86th edition of this prestigious congress.

Across four days, you can look forward to insightful plenaries, interactive panel discussions with renowned faculty, hands-on skill courses for residents and consultants, spaces to present your best work, and plenty of opportunities to collaborate, learn, and grow.

And while you’re here, the energy of Gujarat will surround you with its Festivals, Craft, Traditions, Stepwells, Riverfronts, and the unbeatable charm of Ahmedabad. From the peaceful Sabarmati Riverfront to the intricate beauty of Adalaj Stepwell, from the lively and delicious food streets of Manek Chowk to the serenity of Sabarmati Ashram (Gandhi Ashram), the city offers unforgettable experiences. Students and young surgeons will especially long exploring places like Science City, Kankaria Lake, and the buzzing CG Road and Law Garden markets.
